PHOTO WORKSHOPS
The story
I started my first photo workshops with young people aged 10 to 14 from Comuna 8, a "favela" type neighborhood in Medellín, Colombia.
The experience was so incredible that I wanted to develop this format as much as possible. I do workshops in several neighborhoods of Medellín throughout the year (I stay there for two years).
I then set up a partnership with the BENPOSTA association, which works for education in the Córdoba region, in the northwest of the Caribbean coast, still in Colombia.
My mission with BENPOSTA is to tour the region with the director and raise awareness among young people from dangerous and very disadvantaged backgrounds about photography and the power of this tool in order to tell their reality. I meet Indigenous communities, do a workshop in a neighborhood built on a coal mine, offer workshops in colleges…
When I return to France, I continue my approach with isolated undocumented minors in Nancy as well as autistic people in the Paris region.
Today, I want to further develop photo workshops for isolated audiences as well as individuals wishing to learn photography.

WHY a PHOTO WORKSHOP?
We live in a world of images, communication, social networks, which makes photography a must for our generation.
Accessible, today everyone has access to a camera, at least through their smartphone. 56% of French people take at least one photo a week with their phone.
Create a vocation, a profession, a passion or improve the photos taken every day.
Offer a new communication tool, in order to tell his daily life, his reality, his way of life, his story, his entourage in a more effective way.
